John completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Podiatry in 1995 from the University of South Australia. John moved to Melbourne in 2001 where he has established two thriving private Podiatry Practices and leads a team of highly qualified Podiatrists who share and support the same values as he does to provide the best client care available.
With over 20 years of experience John is experienced in all facets of Podiatry with a keen interest in both Paediatrics and Sports/Biomechanics with which he has had great success in dealing with complex cases.
John has continued his further studies by completing Postgraduate subjects of Sports Podiatry, Paediatrics and Pharmacology at the University of South Australia and also completed courses in Plerotherapy (Injection Therapy) and Shock Wave Therapy. This commitment to education allows him to maintain a high standard of delivery of Podiatry services and using the knowledge gained to pass on the latest treatment techniques to his staff and clients.
John is also a supervisor for final year undergraduate Latrobe University Podiatry students doing Private Practice placements at either of his clinics.
John is also a keen AFL fan being a Melbourne based sponsor of the Adelaide Crows with which he has great interaction with both Board Members and Players.
Peter Dietsch BHSc (Pod)
Peter completed a bachelor degree in Health Science specialising in Podiatry from AUT in Auckland, New Zealand in 2008. Peter moved to Melbourne in January 2009 and has worked in Australia since, working both in the city and around rural Australia in community and private settings. Peter has been with Moreland Podiatry since May 2013. Peter practices all aspects of podiatry, and has a particular interest in sports medicine, putting an emphasis on holistic healthcare through a multi -disciplined approach. Since graduating, Peter has pursued further study in personal training and nutrition at the Victorian Institute of Fitness. As well as alternative soft tissue treatment courses in dry needling, trigger point therapy, prolotherapy and shockwave therapy.
Molly Thomson – Podiatrist
Molly completed her Bachelor of Podiatry degree at La Trobe University in 2009, and has worked in private practices across Victoria, NSW and Queensland. Molly has also spent some time working in a Chronic Wound Clinic and a Community Health Service.
Molly has experience in all aspects of Podiatry, including performing nail surgery, diabetic foot examinations, treating musculoskeletal and paediatric complaints and providing general skin and nail care. She is particularly interested Sports Podiatry and lower limb biomechanics.
Molly has recently finished studying her certificate III & IV in Fitness & Personal Training so she can combine her love of health and fitness with Podiatry to provide a more holistic approach to healthcare, while also helping a wider community to reach their health and wellness goals. Having worked as a boundary umpire she knows the stress that running can cause the body and is therefore better able to assist her patients to get back on their feet.
